Speak! is thrilled to welcome Mohammed Harba to our faculty as lead Instructor of Arabic. Mohammed comes to us with extensive teaching and course formation experience and is a dynamic teacher and conversationalist. He will be kicking off our regular Arabic course program with Arabic for Beginners beginning in the last week of May/first of June in the evenings. Find out more and register on our Arabic page. About Mohammed Harba, M.A.:
Mohammed was born and raised in Babylon Province, Iraq. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Translation and Linguistics from Mustansiriya University in Baghdad. As a Fulbright Scholar, Mohammed earned an M.A. in Comparative Literature focusing on translation and Middle Eastern Studies. He has been involved in curriculum development for the past three years and taught Arabic language and culture in several academic and military institutions in Massachusetts and Virginia, including Phillips Andover Academy and Endicott College. He is also involved in developing online interactive methods of learning foreign languages.
