Born in 1987 in Montmartre, Paris, Philippe has always lived in this Parisian “village.” Since he fell in love with an American citizen who was as fond of the French author and director Marguerite Duras as he was, after receiving his Masters in French Literature (with high honors) at the Sorbonne Nouvelle in 2015, he moved to the United States. He loves to share abroad his passion for French and Francophone languages and cultures. Philippe has tutored French and Math, and he is at this very moment French Adjunct at VMI (Lexington, VA). Besides specializing in French literature and teaching, Philippe has a variety of experience: he received his Baccalaureate in science and has worked in insurance for AIG France. So you can SPEAK! about a very wide rage of subjects with Philippe! Philippe also writes a lot: he has published academic works on Duras and has tons of drama and poetry manuscripts and incomplete novels in his drawers but considers them unready to be published. Share with him your passions not only for language and writing, but also for photography, cinema, hot yoga and theatre (plus wine and patisseries and cheese and and and…)!
